ASSOCIATED STUDENTS Other elected and appointed offi- cers assisted the student body offi- cers in running the school. As Busi- ness Manager, Bill Strong handled student accounts and profits from games, dances, and other activities. The Assembly Chairperson, Andrea Knell, was responsible for the qual- ity of all assemblies. She also helped write and introduce them. Michelle Koster, Public Relations, and Sonja Peterson, Social Relations, were concerned with student relations outside and inside the school, re- spectively. Connie Bradfield, Scott Crowley, and John Gibbons as Chief Justice, made up the Supreme Court. Their job was to interpret the school rules and constitution. Associated Students planned activi- ties for students. Craig Fletcher was president, with Dave Lundburg, Kimo Esplin, and Spencer Blake re- presenting the Junior, Sophomore, and Freshmen boys. Carrie Stubbs worked with Annette Stevenson, Shawna Metcalf, and Laura Lambert in planning activities for girls. 85

The class of '78 had the privilege of being Timpview's first graduating class. This is an honor not only be- cause it happens once at a school, but because new high schools don't open very often. The senior officers were: Lon Allen, president; Brett Wood, vice-president; and Karen Jones, secretary. They were in charge of activities for seniors such as Super Senior Day, Senior Week, Senior Class Project, and the Senior Dinner Dance, which was held at Hotel Utah with Provo High stu-
