The Shandells provided not only great half-time entertainment, but also a good majority of the spirit at our games. I»l!ll.l TEAM Before the drill team even had a name, their officers were elected. To choose a name, each member suggested one, then voted. Shan- dells, suggested by Shelley Jack- man, is an Indian word meaning the best. The Shandells, under the direction of Rolayne Sims, marched at every home football and basketball game and were little sisters to the football and basketball players. They had fund- raisers to help pay for their uni- forms and they marched at half time at a BYU basketball game on December 9. We're proud of all the work they put forth in support- ing our teams and the enthusiasm they created. Dance Mistress.
