The theme for the Harvest Ball, which was held on October 14, was “Candle In The Wind. The Girls' Organization, under the direction of Carrie Stubbs, president, spon- sored the dance. Dave Dunkley was chosen A Man For All Sea- sons, with Paul McOmber and Brett Wood, Best Men. They danced with their dates in the com- mons to the song Candle in the Wind, played by London Bridge. Decorations included a silhouette of a girl blowing out a candle against a dusty rose background, drawn by Andrea Darais. Refresh- ments were served on candle-lit tables. 19

PUP IS EVERTME I J The theme of Thunder Week, the week that Timpview played Provo High in basketball, was Timp is Everywhere! Signs and posters were displayed. This sign, made by the School Spirit Committee, was displayed downtown over University Avenue. Special Weeks Got Students Involved The first week of school was New Years Week. The Timpview Toddlers, Todd Ashman, Tod Balser, Mike Bateman, Dave Dunkley, and Lon Allen, sang and danced their way into the hearts of their audience. John Gibbons, the director of the johnny Carson Show, looked down with disgust while Princess Timpanogos and her Indians took over his show.
