Although having a somewhat disap- pointing season, the track team worked hard to improve themselves as rnuch as possible The beginning of the season proved excitingg they won the P.S.L. relays and the Luther South Frosh- Soph Invitational meet. Then the team hit a slump and lost the Wooden Shoe Meet lthe first time in four yearsl and the Lisle Invitational, bringing team morale down slightly. Fortunately they recovered in time to take second in the P,S.L. Finals. lVlr. Greenfield was a bit dissatisfied with the team's performance but recognized the tre- mendous amount of work that the boys had put in. Unfortunately nobody quali- fied for state competition, P.S.L.
