,.., mv MASS HISTIIRY We began our senior year by electing class officers: Don Schaaf, president: Warren Noorlag, vice-president: Donna Teune, treasurer: and Marlene Van Der Velde, secretary. Our first projects were two car washes in the early fall and our class play This Is the Life' in November. Throughout the year we sold pop at noon hour and again gave barbeque luncheons and sold Christmas cards. Other projects were selling pennants, sponsoring a movie, and co-sponsoring with the juniors a skating party. During Christmas vacation we had a senior party. Games highlighted the evening and refreshments were enjoyed by all. On March 30, we boarded the train for Washington, D.C. We stopped off at Williamsburg and other historical and picturesque towns along the way. At Washington we visited the Capitol Building, the Supreme Court, the Washington Monument the Library of Congress, and the Lincoln and Iefferson Memorials. The trip proved to be educational and exciting. We will always remember senior night, the beautiful Iunior-Senior Banquet, this time in our honor, and the Awards Banquet. On Iune 12, thirty-nine seniors, the class of '59 walked down the aisle of Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church to receive their diplomas. Although we have spent our last year at Timothy, we will never forget it, and its influence will always be felt in our lives. Marlene H endrikse Huss Erfimeyer takes his punishment at the senior Chris'mas party. Another class project-barbecue luncheons. Graduation-lune 12, 1959.
