MASS HISlllIll As we look back upon our four years of high school, it hardly seems possible that they are ended. We entered high school as inexperienced freshmen but were soon initiated at the All School Party. As the year went on, we became more accustomed to high school life and by the time it was over we were accepted as a regular part of the school. As sophomores we had passed the test and started the year with enthusiasm. In the spring We had our own sophomore party, which was really a success. With the beginning of our junior year came the election of class officers. Ron Decker, president: Don Schaaf, vice-president: Nancy Grabinski, treasurer: and Wilma Hoeks, secretary did a fine job for our class. Sponsoring the All School Party Shipwrecked was our first project. This time we had our chance to initiate the freshmen. Other projects included bi-monthly barbecue luncheons, selling Christmas cards, sponsoring a movie. and giving our class play Old Doc. All of these projects were attacked with a spirit of enthusiasm and cooperation. As juniors it was also our responsibility to give the Iunior-Senior Banquet in honor of the graduates. The theme Underwater Fantasy was carried out with elaborate decorations. The year ended with a rush of spring activities. Bill Loerop and Don Swierenga were nominated as candidates for student council president. After an exciting campaign, Bill was elected. The editors for the '59 Saga were also chosen.
