mu, J! f' C7 J!- a.u 1.510111 l By Suv Vtfieringa As green freshmen and wiser soph- omores at Tirriothy, our class was divide ed into two separate honieroorns. As a result, not many activities could be planned or carried out. A united class in our junior year, the first thing accomplished was the elec- tion of class officers. Ken Blauw was chosen Presidentg Ron Schaaf, Vice- Presidentq Marcia Hoving, Secretary: and lim Vander Velde, Treasurer. So that we might leave a gift to our school and also take a class trip, some pro- iects were begun. ln the fall of our third year we had the first all-school party. The faculty and student body were invited in order to become better acquainted with one another. ln March our class sponsored a skating party. We were continually busy, as soon after this rehearsals for our Junior class play began. Our class gift, new choir robes, was brought in part by the profits of this play. We chose New Orleans and a tour of the Gulf of Mexico as the area of our class trip. So that this dream rriight bee come a reality, our class rolled paper, sold candy bars, sold cokes during lunch hour, gave monthly luncheons, showed movies, and sponsored a pan- cake breakfast. The proceeds from the presentation of our senior class play, APPLE BLOS- SQIVI TIME, brought us one step closer to our dream, a trip to New Orleans. On Iune 15, 1956, twenty-seven sen- iors were graduated from Timothy Christian High School. Almost all of us were graduates of Timothy Grade School. We have gone through twelve years of school together and now in lune we shall each go our separate ways, some to college, and others into the business world. Whatever our fu- ture, however far we scatter, we shall never forget our years at Timothy.
