N TION L HONOR SOCIETY ESE we In order to be inducted into the National Honor Society, a student must show unusual Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service while attending Timken. He must also be a member of the junior or senior class and have the recommendation of a faculty committee of teachers. SENIOR DECA Distributive Education Clubs of America were formed to foster sales as a career and to teach high school students the fundamentals of retailing. Officers of this year's senior D.E.C.A. were Pauline Sedon, president, Linda Boswell, vice president. Projects this year included a bake sale and arrangement of the display windows outside Room 200 and 232. Sandy Courtney, Janice Crum, Pauline Sedon. l y C.O.E. Seniors from secretarial, accounting, and business machines comprised the C.O.E. Club which was formed this year at Timken. Each member attended school in the morning and worked at a local business during the afternoon. The purpose of the club was to meet with other schools throughout the state that had C.O.E. programs.
