The value of history, civics, and mathematics is not lost in the midst of shops and laboratories. Mr. Harrison is the busy man who supervises the activities of the entire building and directs the teaching of all of these subjects. He stresses the importance of art, music, and literature in the development of a good person- ality. His belief that Mozart, Emerson and machinery interweave easily is being practiced at Timken High. Mr. Harrison is very ambitious for Timken students in all phases of education. He is happiest when a student has achieved outstanding success or when some boy or girl in whom he has had confidence, makes good.
