The success of any school system depends largely upon the caliber of its Board of Education. Our Board of Education deserves a tribute of praise for the fine work it has done this past year. The students of Timken realize its value greatly, for this small group of men have aided in making our first year at Timken a very pleasant and successful one. These active members have the responsibility of the entire school system. Their aims are to help the students in every way possible: to pave a road that will guide them to a useful and happy life as future citizens: and to lay before them the ideals that will attain this aim. We hope in following the excellent example that has been set for us we may express our appreciation and humble thanks to the Board of Education for its efforts to serve us.
