WE REMEMBER . . Remember the first day of school . . . meeting old friends and new teachers and the long line at the book win- dow . . . Hello Week, and that Kangaroo Court . . . remember how scared you freshmen were, and how tough you upperclassmen felt . . . Remember the brisk fall days of foot- ball season . . . and then there were the more typical foggy, rainy days . . . remember the games . . . the ones we won, and then there were the ones we almost won . . . our band, and how proud we were of it . . . Homecoming, and the sophomores' joy Fannie's crown falling off when her picture was taken . . . activities . . . clubs . . . work- ing on Prom committees . . . last-minute rushes trying to talk Mrs. Kremers into giving you a tardy slip . . , the day we came to school and found Gary Vantress hanging from the flagpole . . . our cute little mascot . . . the difficulties we had with the Vic- tory bell . . . Thanksgiving vacation . . . term paper blues . . . dissecting worms in biology . . . junior headaches like Who's selling candy after school? . . . remember how you hollered about the short Christmas vacation, and about coming back to school January 2 . . . but wasn't it nice having a whole week in the Spring . . . the excitement of basketball season . . . cramming for semester exams . . . trig problems, and history tests . . . and for the IllCllI of class competition . . . spring . . . the smell of newly cut grass . . . club picnics . . . the suspense of student body elections . . . finally the prom . . . but to the juniors it was only too short . . . and soon, for the seniors . . . grad- uation.
