Almost always Catholic education m e a n s an additional cost. Sometimes it means poor build- ings or inconveniences of some kind. How can one explain the sacrifices parents are Willing to make? ,HE most obvious reason is that Catholic schools are different, The aims and con- tent of Catholic education con- sider not only man's body and mind, but his immortal soul as well. This means that earthly aims, good and necessary as they are, do not go far enough. Man's ultimate purpose in lite, namely union with God hrough love of man, takes pre- cedence.
