SHOPS C. Hall, R. Yuskis, and R. Gerbic make last minute adjustments before painting their projects in Wood Shop. Students test a small motor in Aircraft Shop. Advanced linotype students R. Long, C. Jones, and J. Frechette get to work on their next assignment. Tilden provides courses of instruction in many different types of shop work, which is a requirement for any student entering into one of the many fields of engineering. This training is also a distinct ad- vantage for any boy who may decide to be a trades- man or mechanic. Tilden’s shops are supplied with the finest equipment that can be obtained and staffed with well-trained instructors who pass along to the students their many years of knowledge and experience. Regardless of the chosen profession that the stu- dent enters later in his lifetime, he will always find his shop training invaluable. He can always find use for it, and it contributes immensely to his under- standing of the industrial world.
