As juniors we set out to show, Some upper classmen style; Joined in the fun, went out for sports, Kept grades up all the while. Some made the teams, the honor rolls, Gave shows, did service work; Some earned awards, held offices, None Tilden's chores did shirk. Our senior days were filled with plans. They had us in a whirl; The proms and dinners, plays and games, And, of course, our favorite girl. We strutted senior sweaters, Owned rings a day or two; Proudly wore our well-earned letters, A-top the gold and blue. Now it's our job as Tilden grads, To do what e'er we can; To use our skill v ith tool and pen And serve our fellowman. Let's hitch our wagon to a star, Aim high, strive hard, and then Some day we'll find our names among, Top ranking Tilden men.

Goodbye and good luck In the next steps that you will take toward your maturity. You are, no doubt, beginning to understand that schools do not make educated men. They try to give expe- periences that produce desirable changes in the behavior of people. Perhaps most important are those changes that bring students to take increasing responsibility for their own continued growth, be- cause the truly educated man has learned to take this responsibility and selects wholesome experi- ences that will result in his continued development. He has also learned to avoid unwholesome expe- riences. Whether you are going to college or directly into some job, seek and find activities that will insure your continuing growth toward physical, intellectual, and social maturity. Sincerely,
