This group of parents and teachers meets the second Wednesday of each month to carry on constructive work tor better parenthood, better homes, better schools and better communi- ties. Tilden's Parent Teacher Association is a fairly young branch of the state and national P. T. A. It was founded by Miss Eleanor Murphy a former English teacher at Tilden Technical High School in 1993. Students participate in programs and appreciate the work of the organization and enjoy many of the conveniences it has made possible. Several projects for raising funds to carry on worthwhile programs are in progress each year. The Parent education classes are our main interest at present. Our General theme is Growing With Our Chi1dren. Our aim is Toward Closer Family Relations .
