Now good digestion wait on appetite, As to the lunchroom on the second floor Rush troops of boys, all laughing and all gay. 'Tis time to eat-a keen delight to them! They chose great plates ot meat And steaming soup or icy bars of cream, And then add chocolate sauce and cake. 'k And so all day, upstairs they trip And down they sprint, Calling, Hey there! , I-lel1o! See you tonight! They meet in clubs: How are you, loe? In German it's Wie geht es dir? In French it's Comment ga va? In Spanish it's Cdmo esta usted? Dash in to help get out the Times, Rush on to gym, for all the things that wait On intellect, vigor, and good will In a boys' world-at Tilden.

But soon above that din come other sounds They hear the march of tramping feet And a stern voice ringing out, Present Colors! - Retirel - lVlarchl Onetwo-three-four. One-two-three-four. And from afar comes music: Songs soft, sweet, and tuneful, Band music loud and impelling. And so it is that many things That boys are wont to do Attract them and they join the band Or sing in Glee with voices strong, Or sign to march in the ROTC, Or sit in Student Council and declare For things that make their school A pleasant place to be-a boys' world. 'A' A loud bell rings: the day begins. Division room doors are opened wide. Morning greetings are exchanged. Directions for the day are given. Sport Bang takes over: the game spirit reigns. go the doors as the football men In heavy, spiked shoes and weighty helmets Clip over the threshold quick and fast, Swinging their arms in the chilly air As they rush on to the fifty-first field. Inside the walls, intramurals go on With Each Each Each lt's a games and plays for all of the boys. in its season, each in its place, one a challenge to join in the games one a chance for them to excel. boys' world.
