MRS MULLEN Senior Adifirefpr Mr LEHAN MRS. GALVIN MRS. ELWERT CLASS COLORS CLASS FLOWER Blue and Silver Red R056 CLASS MOTTO Not merely to exist, but to amount to fometloing, is life. Football, basketball, the Senior Prom, Graduation-these are memories that we share with high school graduates throughout the country, young people in New England, on the warm shores of the Gulf, in the farming communities of the Middle West, everywhere in this land of ours, former high school students remember these things and probably feel much the same way about them that we do. But at Tigard High School, as at every other high school in the country, there are some special things, some memories which will be entirely our own in the years to come. Who will soon forget the Magazine Sale Contest that we almost won? Or the November we tried our hand at politics in the mock election held in the American Problems and American History classes? This year will be remembered across the country as the year of Elvis Presley, Pat Boone, and Tab Hunter. We will remember them as we will remember rock ln' roll music and car coats and sweater vests, remember them well because they represent a definite part of our lives, when the smallest part of living is so very important, when all motion is forward.
