ffl Letter of 'Thanks To Superintendent Fowler: VVords are sadly inadequate to convey our thanks. Since the day we came to you, eager, ignorant and just a trifle frightened, you have given us liberally of your time, experience, and wisdom. You have borne patiently with our youthful follies and en- couraged whatever latent ability you maye have discerned in us. Because of you, we shall leave high school and enter the strife of everyday world, with a sense of social obligation, an appreciation of the rights of others, and above all a determination to carry on. There is no material reward that can adequately com- pensate you for the good that you have done, but we hope that the thanks of the Senior class of '39 may in a slight measure show our appreciation. VVe are giving your photo- graph a place of honor in our V339 Album. Seniors of '39 6
