HOME ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT Cultivates the Art of Homemaking 9 Mrs. Eidson shows some of the rooms planned by Home Ee Il students. Miss Allen and Miss Coker gain experience in Home Economics teaching. f The homemakers of tomorrow are oftered three years ot home economics, one year being required for graduation. Students not only study sewing and cooking, but among other things study the art ot flower arrangement, good grooming, money management, and home nursing. These girls are fond ot the expression, The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and the opinion of visitors who have shared their meals is that quite a few hearts will be influenced by their cooking. Family Living classes learn the importance and tunda- mentals of dating, personality, happy marriages, and child care so that they themselves will be better mates and better parents.
