Each student at Tifton l-ligh School has four years of English, a semester of grammar, and a semester of literature each year. In freshman and sophomore literature stu- dents travel to all parts of the world Through stories ol other lands and people. The iuniors explore America and the seniors study England. The other half of the year is devoted to learning the fundamentals ot English grammar in an effort to speak and write more efficiently. Speech students learn the art ot public speaking by studying voice and body control. in Speaking and Writing ad Clurice and Dellene record their voices the first week in Miss Jolmson's class.
