Sllllll The Bessie Tift Student League was organ- ized in 1935. The officers consist of a presi- dent, two vice-presidents, a secretary, and twelve district chairmen. All students register- ing in the college automatically become mem- bers of this organization and are expected to cooperate to promote the general welfare of the college. ll Glll The purpose of the Student League is to present Bessie Tift correctly to prospective students, and to promote student interest on the campus. It is the desire of the Student League to further the growth of the student body, obtain the highest standards of young womanhood for membership, and magnify the college's standards and ideals through the life of its students.
