Worihy Playwright Alpha Psi Omega was organized as an hon- orary dramatic fraternity in order to provide an honor society for those doing a high stand- ard of work in dramatics, to cultivate a taste for drama, to foster the cultural values which we believe dramatics develops, and to unite the dramatic forces of the college and university theatres throughout the United States and Canada. Ilonorary Member No fraternity has a better right to bear Greek letters than a dramatic fraternity, for it was in ancient Greece that drama became a definite part of the art and culture of the civilized world. The coat-of-arms is the stage of a Greek theatre. Across the frieze is writ- ten the Greek motto which means Seek a life useful. The badge is a monogram of the first letter in the motto, Alpha, Psi, and Omega, AlPHA PSI IIIVIEBA
