INDUSTRIAL ARTS Mr. LaCourse feels the goals of the industrial arts program in our school are to help the student to: -gain an understanding of industry and technology. -discover interest and talents. -develop basic skills in the safe use of tools and machines. -make informed and meaningful occupational choices. -acquire interests in avocational pursuits and hobbies. -develop safe working habits. -apply other school subjects. -become a wiser consumer. -develop pride in work well done. -work cooperatively with others, develop techniques in problem solving.  ... history is important because most of the problems today have their origins in the past and we can't understand the present without the past. He who looks at history loses the sight of one eye.
