Such is the Student Council. Under the direction of Mr. Duston and Miss Pratt, this year's Student Council has brought added powers to the students. The Council, com- posed of representatives from each class, has this year branched out into a new division, called the Sportsmanship Council. Passing traditions, approving activities and hav- ing a voice in the rules governing the operation of Thurston, are only a few of the many duties of the Student Council.
