Social Studies program offers Arizona Histor This year a new one-semester course in Arizona Government has been added to the Social Studies section. This is a required course for graduation. Seniors in U.S. Govern- ment and Economics assumed the responsibilities of U.S. Senators in the Mock Senate which took place in November. The Senior Senate voted and debated on bills and propositions, just as a regular senate does. Juniors in U.S. History went on a field trip to see the Freedom Train, in honor of the Bicentennial. Also, the Juniors put on the play, 1776 for other U.S. History classes, and video-taped parts of it for Open House.
