Wanda Edsall, chapter sweetheart, was honored at the FFA banquet held April 12. The boys had as special guests their fathers. Using a B1ue Moon theme, the band entertained with a banquet on April 13. The Stage Band, Breckenridge High School, provided a varied and interesting program.

Senior Trip Banquet Junior Senior Banquet Baccalaureate 23 Commencement 2 . . 7 FHA Mother-D aughter 1 1 . - . 19 The Senior Class left Throckmorton at 2:45 on May 2nd for Monterrey. After traveling all night the class reached their destination and set out on a tour of the city. After lunch the students and their sponsors went to Horsetail Falls. The next morning the class boarded a bus and went to the city of Satillo, once the capital of Texas. The trip gave the seniors a view of Mexican rural life, the Sierra Madre Mountains, and the city itself including one of the oldest cathedrals in Mexico. The next day the class went to the market in Monterrey and then to the bullfight. That night they boarded the bus and arrived in Throckmorton the next afternoon. These seniors pose at the doorway of a cafe on the way to Monterrey. As Cora Lynn practices her Spanish the s e n i o r s in the background have their shoes p ol i sh e d in front of the Hotel Monterrey.
