After traveling all night the class reached their destination and set out on a tour of the city. After lunch the students and their sponsors went to Horsetail Falls. The next morning the class boarded a bus and went to the city of Satillo, once the capital of Texas. The trip gave the seniors a view of Mexican rural life, the Sierra Madre Mountains, and the city itself including one of the oldest cathedrals in Mexico. The next day the class went to the market in Monterrey and then to the bullfight. That night they boarded the bus and arrived in Throckmorton the next afternoon.
