Many people think of pioneering as hav- ing ended with the covered wagon. Never has the old pioneering spirit with confidence in one- self and faith in the future been more important than it has in the progress of Three Way School. Let us take a backward glance to 1945 when the school was organized. What we see of Three Way School is a cotton field. Students were separated into three separate school build ings miles apart. As the next year rolls around, we see the skeleton of our beautiful institution. As we survey it, we realize that this school is now the community's goal and we are proud and deeply happy. Yes, we the '50 Seniors of Three Way School owe a great debt to our community and to Mr. Homsley, Superintendent of the school, because of the pioneering spirit they have exemplified in the past four years in bringing our school L V up to the standard 'i'Q it is today. w ef f , V
