I-J-iyigl-ugfriterom LZ' ij 3' The Boys' Gym classes had their Gym Circus tonight. March 21-The last Girls' interclass basketball practices were held tonight. March Z2-The Seventh Grade put on an interesting patriotic program in assembly. Nlarch 25 Juniors vs. -Girls' lnterclass Basketball games started tonight. Seniors: Sophs vs. Frosh. Juniors and Sophs won. March 26-I wonder if the fire drill called during third hour classes had any effect on the test papers of the Civics class. March 27-More interclass games tonight. Juniors are school champions, March 28-The members of the Orchestra felt quite at home this morning. They practiced on the stage in the Auditorium. March 29-Band and Orchestra had charge of assembly. The order of classes was changed: at 8:30 everybody Nj went to third hour classes, then fourth, to assembly. After dinner the fifth. sixth. and seventh. Spring vacation started tonight. She was only a pirate's daughter, but oh. boy, what a Kidd! Theater Owner: A'How did the comedian's jokes get across? Prank Clymer: On the lX'layflower. Miss Comar: f Defme moustache. Harmon Dud : A moustache is a bang on the mouth. She: Bob, l am sorry, but I can never be anything but a sister to you. Bob : All right, sis, give your brother a kiss and lend him live bucks 'till next week. Lillian Butler: 'XVhat's that song you're singing? Marie Stock: The Road to Mandalay. Senior class meeting was held tonight. The invitations and girl's commence- ment dresses were picked out. Feb. 23-Last home game of the season was held tonight, Allegan won. Feb. 26-Three people in beginning typewriting class won the thirty word I a minute award today. Feb. 27-Preparations are about completed for the tournament. Feb. 28-If this weather keeps up everyone will have spring fever early this year. MARCH March 1-The basketball teams left for St. Joe at 3 o'clock. Ag. Club put on the assembly program this morning and third hour was omitted. M Seniors had their intelligence tests this morning at 9:15. Most of them were of the opinion that they weren't very intelligent after they had completed it. March 2-Mrs. Voorhees left today for NVashington to attend the Inaugural ceremony. The teacher who is to take her place was here Friday. March 4-Everyone assembled in the auditorium at ll o'clock and heard the Inauguration ceremony by radio. March 5-A prominent notice on the assembly Room board is: 'ASeniorsT Give orders for invitations to M. Stock. z'mmedz'aze!g: ' March 6-All Seniors who missed the chance to get their I. taken had to take the test today. March 7-District basketball tournament began tonight. March 8-Sophs gave a good assembly program today. Third and fourth hours were both omitted because the entire school attended an imaginary basket- ball game in the gym after assembly. More Basketball Conference this evening. March 9-If people attended many games like the one with Sturgis this even- ing we are sure their lives would be shortened IO years at least. Score. T. R., 22: Sturgis. 20. with three minutes' play overtime, March ll-Three Rivers plays Marshall in the Regional tournament at Kalamazoo, Thursday. You do your best boys and we'll do the rest, etc.. etc. March 12-No school today because of Teachers' Institute held here. March 13-All orders for Commencement invitations had to be in today. Girls' Gym Demonstration in Gym tonight. March 14-The B. B. team met their Waterloo tonight when they played Marshall at Kalamazoo. Too bad. now we're out of the tournament. March I5-Major Hill gave a talk on Africa today. Mr. Ringle took charge of Assembly as Mr. I-Iorst was absent. Y March I8-More group pictures were taken for the Annual today. March 20-dlfveryone was startled from their sleep Nl when the Ere gong' rang this A. M. during third hour class. No one was hurt because there was no fire. I Hll I
