PI 26.6281 Iltititittcirola LZ' SHE Sept. 25--The orchestra found this morning that the portable building isn't conveniently located when it rains. Sept. 26-Mr. Fox Cin Physics classb. Just think of the number of pounds of air pressure that there is on every square inch of your shoulders. Virginia J. Gee whiz! No wonder l'm so tired. ,- Sept. 27-First fire drill this year was called during second hour today. Sept. 28-Three new yell leaders were chosen in assembly today. There were nine candidates and from these. Paul Hoover, Evelyn Sebroski and Irene Mosher were chosen. - The dates on which each school organization was to have charge of the assembly program were read. Senior and Sophomore class meetings held. Sept. 29-Football game today. T. R. vs. St. Joe. there. Score. seven to nothing in favor of T. R. OCTOBER Oct. l-Everyone arrived on time this morning even if they forgot the change of time. An open Ag. meeting was held at 7:30. Oct. 2+First T. C. Glee Club meeting held today. Some Seniors look as if they were all dressed up and had no place to go. They are posing for Mr. XVingard in the studio during one of their assembly room periods. Oct. 4-Some lively discussions take place in the first hour Physics class every time problems are the day's assignment. ,- Oct. 5-We wonder how many magicians will be found in the High School after today's assembly program. Mary Bowen and Frederick Allwardt received some training while helping Mr. Reno. Oct. 6- Casey has a football team at last. Another game for Oct. 8-Six weeks' exams started today. Misery and more of it. Oct. 9-Senior play try-outs were held in Old Assembly room the cast picked. Oct. 10-Still struggling away with six weeks' exams. The orchestra initiated some new music today. Oct. ll-The first number of the Festival was given in the tonight. . Oct. lZ-School started Hfteen minutes early today and sixth hours were not held this afternoon. us. tonight and Auditorium and seventh Immediately after dinner Mr. Grathwell spoke on Tinkers and Thinkers. School was out at 2:15. Many pupils attended the football game at Vicksburg. Another victory for the team. Oct. I3-Freshman team played Marcellus. there. Oct. l7-Why' so many sad faces today? Report cards! Oct. 18-Rain. rain, rainf That's all we've seen this week. Oct. 19-Straw vote was held in assembly today. Hoover won. Jerry Tulloch gave a talk on How a President is Elected. Cecil DeLong talked on Smith and Helen Geibe on Hoover. Annual Staff had a meeting at 7:00 o'clock. Oct. 20-The teams and the band went to Paw Paw today. Another game for us Oct. 22-Part of the group pictures for the Annual were taken today. Oct. 23-Too dark to take pictures today. Posters can be seen in most any room asking for money to buy sweat coats for the football team. Oct. 24-The rest of the group pictures were taken today. Oct. 25-Special Annual Staff meeting was held to make more plans for the 1 Assembly Program. Nov. 2. Oct. 26-Mr. Carrick gave an interesting account of his European trip in assembly today. Oct. 27-Ciame with Otsego here. Oct. Z8-Teachers are all gone to the lnstitute so we will have a little rest while they work for a change. ' Oct. 29-Teachers are still busy. Oct. 30-Back to school again, only two more days of school this week. NOVEMBER Nov. l-A few results of Hallowe'en can be seen around the school house. For example. marks on the chemistry lab. windows. Nov. 2-A pep meeting took up the assembly period today. The sweat coats which have been purchased were shown to the school. Mr. Voorhees gave one of his usual Q ?j talks. 7 , 'Q Nov. 3-Hurrah! VJe won. Score, Dowagiac, HEIT. R., 13. Nov. 5-Juniors and Seniors are giving essays and speeches respectively at the various Ward buildings on topics relative to National Education XVeek. Nov. 6-The Seniors are busy exchanging pictures. Nov. 7- Adam and Eva. the first Senior play, was a great success. with Cecil Delsong and Margaret NVhitesell the leading characters. , Nov. 8-The most noticeable result of the Senior play is the lack of prepara- tion of lessons. Nov. 9-The Reflector Staff gave a short play in assembly. Pep rally at 7:30 for Niles game tomorrow. Nov. l0-Niles vs. T. R.. there. Score. T. R., l5: Niles, 7.
