The Seniors and Juniors had a picnic at Eisher Lake after the assembly. Thus ended a perfect year. Sept. lication SEPTEMBER 4QSchool opened with a record enrollment of 653 students. Classi- slips were passed out by the teachers and the seven classes, ten minutes in length followed. Books were purchased in the afternoon. Sept. 5-Assembly was held from ten to ten-thirty for the purpose of ar- ranging for the Monday, XVednesday classes held during the half-hour period. Sept. classes. Sept. 6-Another ten to ten-thirty program devoted to Tuesday, Thursday 7-Assembly this morning was mainly for announcements. Mr. Carrick gave a little talk telling of a few of his experiences in Europe. Eight Lyceum numbers will appear this year in the Assembly programs. Sept. 8-Eirst and Second teams had a practice game this afternoon and in- vited the members of the High School to attend, Sept. Sept. class to Sept. lection. 10-Annual Staff met tonight to talk over various important matters. l l-Twenty-live cents is being collected from each pupil in his first hour help pay for the Lyceum numbers to be presented in Assembly. 12-Three, hundred per cent rooms so far for the twenty-live cent col- Miss Williams. Miss Ciarman and Miss Comar are the proud collectors. Orchestra had Hrst regular practice in the portable building. Sept. 13-All the organizations are getting pretty well under way now. Consequently the blackboard in the Old Assembly is about full of announce- ments. Sept. periods l-l-School started fifteen minutes early so that there would be live in the morning fno ten to ten-thirty periodj and all would be over at three o'clock. A football game, T. R. vs. Mendon, took place at threefthirty. XVho won? Why. T. R., of course. Seniors had a class meeting for election of officers after school was out. Sept. 15-The first Junior Reflector appeared today. At the request of the Juniors the Seniors are putting out the first two editions. Sept. l7- Casey is trying to get five cars to take the team to Allegan, Saturday. Sept. 18-Eree tickets for the Fair were given out in fifth hour classes today. Sept. 19-School day at the Eair. T. R. carried off first place in the band contest. Sept. 20-Maxine Collisi was elected Literary Editor by the Annual Staff tonight. Sept. 2l-Short assembly today, devoted to announcements. Sept. 22-Eirst regular football game of the season was played at Allegan. Score seven to seven. Sharon Walz acquired a broken linger during the Allegan game.

No hours were omitted. The Eighth Grade examinations are being given in the auditorium. May l9-The regional track tournament was held at Kalamazoo today. The winners here go to Lansing next Saturday. ' 'X' May 21-Chemistry classes are cleaning up the laboratory. This is one sign that the end of school is coming. May 22-The Varsity Club had a banquet in the sewing room this evening. May 23--The Senior play cast is working hard on their last play which is to be given the nfth of June. May 24-Senior invitations were given out this afternoon. Nlay 25-The Exchange Club entertained the Senior boys at a dinner this noon. Nlr. Horst made about a dozen announcements in the short assembly today and then called on various people to repeat them. Members of the High School as well as Mr. Horst got a great deal of amusement from the answers. May Z6-Several boys went to Lansing yesterday to participate in the state track meet held there Friday and today. lf any of these boys place, Three Rivers will be making quite a name for itself. Nlay 28-Luck was certainly with our boys Saturday. Jack Hyatt took first place in the low hurdles. and Bob Seekell came in first in thffnur-forty yard dash. May Z9-Senior exams began yesterday and are still continuing today. No wonder they all look so long-faced. May 30-Memorial Day-No school. May 31-This is our last chance to review with our beloved teachers this year. Orchestra journeyed to NVhite Pigeon to play for the graduating exercises there. JUNE June l-The Annual Field Meet was held today at Centreville. Consequently we had two vacations this week. June 3-Baccalaureate Sermon was given in the High School Auditorium by Rev. Telford. i June 4-Eirst, second, and third hour undergraduate exams were held today. Nlisery and more of itf June 5-The Senior Play, Pals Eirstf' was given in the Auditorium this evening. More exams today. June 6-Seventh hour exams were held this morning. June 7-The teachers are busy correcting exam papers. The Commencement Exercises took place at 8:15. Just think of the number of pounds of air pressure that there is on every square inch of your shoulders. Virginia J. Gee whiz! No wonder l'm so tired. ,- Sept. 27-First fire drill this year was called during second hour today. Sept. 28-Three new yell leaders were chosen in assembly today. There were nine candidates and from these. Paul Hoover, Evelyn Sebroski and Irene Mosher were chosen. - The dates on which each school organization was to have charge of the assembly program were read. Senior and Sophomore class meetings held. Sept. 29-Football game today. T. R. vs. St. Joe. there. Score. seven to nothing in favor of T. R. OCTOBER Oct. l-Everyone arrived on time this morning even if they forgot the change of time. An open Ag. meeting was held at 7:30. Oct. 2+First T. C. Glee Club meeting held today. Some Seniors look as if they were all dressed up and had no place to go. They are posing for Mr. XVingard in the studio during one of their assembly room periods. Oct. 4-Some lively discussions take place in the first hour Physics class every time problems are the day's assignment. ,- Oct. 5-We wonder how many magicians will be found in the High School after today's assembly program. Mary Bowen and Frederick Allwardt received some training while helping Mr. Reno. Oct. 6- Casey has a football team at last. Another game for Oct. 8-Six weeks' exams started today. Misery and more of it. Oct. 9-Senior play try-outs were held in Old Assembly room the cast picked. Oct. 10-Still struggling away with six weeks' exams. The orchestra initiated some new music today. Oct. ll-The first number of the Festival was given in the tonight. .
