SENIOR CLASS HISTORY X. - -..- V 1 , , jgil' ' - ----. .... -..annual-nnnlnln-U W H ' Forty Freshmen entered Three Lakes High School in the Fall of 1953. We thought it would be a hard, cruel life, but as the weeks passed and we had nput in some of our time, we found it to be quite the opposite. All of the events of our first year were highly successful and our class took a eful outlook toward the next three years, Initiation, our hay ride, and ur first attempt at a one-act play, nGhost for Rentn, which won fourth plac followed in rapid succession. Our float 'We'll Blow 'Em Sky High,n tied for second. During this first year, Carol Bengs and Jim Rempert were our Court of Honor representatives for the prom. Sandy Boers was a Junior varsity c - erleader and Bonnie Marshall was a varsity. Our Sophomore carnival was fun. fAnd profitable tooll Our play and our Homecoming float each won third place. We had a 'Get Acquainted Dance,' and Karen Kunda was on the Homecoming Court of Honor Sandy and Bonnie were var sity cheerleaders In our Junior year, we received our class rings Our prom theme was ments to Remember and Jim Gensler and Karen Kunda were King and Queen Sonny Sowinski was our Court of Honor representative We had many nights of fun dec orating for it We put on a one act play, and had a homecoming float Our homecoming representative was Gayle Flanery Sandy Boers, Bonnie Marshall, Carol Bengs were varsity cheerleaders Our class party was a wet one! Our class play One Wild N1ght,' was one of the best Our Senior year was a hectic one with each of us needed in many different places at the same time We worked feverishly on our annual soliciting ads and spending long hours getting our last pages in on time Maxine Albrecht was our Homecoming Queen and Bonnie Marshall was our representative on the Court of Hon Nancy Rhode, Sandy Boers, Karen Kunda, and Bonnie Marshall were varsity cheerleaders Carol Bengs was Junior varsity cheerleader We put on a Senior elass play, we had a winning basketball team, and our class parties proved to be entertaining Our Senior Week principal was Nancy Rhode, Chairman of the Board was Tom Stefonek, Marie Waite was Clerk, and Bob Huber was the treasurer. Denny Dart and Gene Maney were also chosen as Board members The proceeds from our big greeting card sale, our class play, many bake sales, dances, conces sions, etc were all ear-marked for a trip to Chicago in May Jim Gensler and Gene Maney were chosen as Court of Honor representatives During our four years, the following people who are not graduating with us were members of our class for at least a time Gene Soder, Lyle Rodman, Pat Anderson, David Koshuta, Bruce Westenfelt, Pete Lay, Ken Arndt, Loren Greenman, Ron Faragher, Tom Barra, and Nancy Strauch Our Class was indeed fortunate to have had many able leaders serving in the post a president throughout our four years, Jim Rempert, Tom Stefonek, andy Beers, and Fred Godding Vice presidents during those years were Nancy Rhode, Fred Goddlng, Gene Maney, and Tom Stefonek, while Sandy Boers, Carol Bengs, Bonnie Marshall, Bonnie Skochil, and Dot Mueller served as Secretary and easurer Student Council members were Nancy Rhode, Denny Dart, Carol Bengs Jim Rempert, Bonnle Marshall, Maxine Albrecht, and Peter Pratz Mr Worachek was our class advisor for four years Mr Huenink, who is now teaching at Viroqua and Mr Bonkowski were with us each for two years.
