Feverish Preparation Results in Best Homecoming Before anyone really had a chance to draw a deep breath of TOHS air, Homecoming was back again, this time earlier than ever. There were the usual weeks of feverish activity leading up to the biggest event of the year. And many disgruntled workers were heard to scratch their heads and mutter that they'd never make it. But the tradi- tional Friday night napkin scramble resulted, finally, in one of the best parades ever. First place trophy went to the Lancer Choir, while the Seniors and Juniors took second and third, respectively. In car competition, the songleaders' entry won top honors. Meanwhile, the Art Club had put the finishing touches on a giant Lancer in the middle of the field, and the Friday pep rally had consolidated the spirit and excitement that preceded Home- coming. 8 X 1
