Such courses as sewing, cooking, child care, and interior decorating serve as fundamenfals in preparation for a successful home life or career. As does preparafion for family life, insfruction in foreign languages assumes a greafer role of im- portance in foday's world. While the demand for more effective communicafion in The complex vvorld increases, so does the necessity of learning o foreign language. Through instruction in conversafion and grammar, Teachers give TOHS students a good grounding in such languages as Russian, German, and Lafin. -ff -5.
