Carol Worden Marsha Coons Lynn Kelly Head Secretary are here IN THE OFFICE AT T.I.S.S. The Life Skills program was an experimental course co- ordinated by Life Skills Coaches, Chris Puddicombe and Birgit Neuburger. It was sponsored by a federal grant. The course was designed to benefit those students unable to adjust to the existing educational system. Honestly and openly sharing common in- dividual problems has been the key to the success of the Life Skills Program. Sheila Rhodes, in the Guidance Office comes to know each student personally and even provides first aid, whenever, necessary.

More than students and staff are needed in order that TISS function effectively. In the library we have three library aides, Mrs. Ruth Taylor (upper left), a Library aide, Mrs. Polly Marhle (upper right), our audio visual aide, and Mrs. Audrey White also a library aide. Mrs. Shirley Jackson, (lower right) works part time, in the main office. All three ladies can be found giving helpful assistance to both the students and staff at TISS. In the halls, Cafeteria and Library, too Our fine staff of custodians consists of both a night shift and a day shift. All the custodians except one are male. Mrs. Edna Elliot is the lady who along with the men helps keep TISS maintained and in good repair. FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: Mr. Gilmer, Mr. Hutt, Mr. Moffitt, Mr. Shields. The ladies in the cafeteria are also very important to the health and welfare of TISS. Gladys Giffin, Helen Bullridge, Betty Murphy, and Joan Kelso provide all those delicious meals that get us through the many hours of school. Our compliments to the Chefs.
