SPRING TISS tried something new this year. Instead of our annual Winter Siesta (the carnival), council decided to have a Spring Fiesta. A variety of events and games were set up and everyone got involved and had mucho fun. The activities scheduled for both lunch hour and after school were very well attended and very successful. The Fiesta ' s first Senor and Senorita were Derek Arthur and our Mexican friend Armida Cesar. The pair reigned at the talent night and basked in its overwhelming success. Other activities included Euchre, ping pong and backgammon tournies. The Saturday night dance and Friday night Casino topped off the week of festivities. Congratulations must be given to council for all their hard work and let ' s hope it becomes an annual event and that it always enjoys the success it did this year. Adios.

TROUBLE- SHOOTING TISS ' s Pete Bourret and Steve Wright are this year ' s Troubleshooting champs. The duo placed first in the annual Chrysler Troubleshooting Contest held in Toronto. The contest consisted of a written test and the troubleshooting segment which requires the team to find and repair defects in a car before driving it over the finish line.
