The following grade school boys participated: Bobby Lawrence, and the freshmen boys were: Jerry Micke, Sam Daines, Reinhold Benzschawel, Lawrence Maslowski, Ronald Benzschawel, George Kliminski, LeRoy Burzinski, Jerry Szymanski, Jerry Kudingo, Michael Jorgensen, Lawrence Grabowski, Victor Gostomski. They played with the Junior Teams of the neighboring schools belonging to the Cloverbelt Conference. ' BASEBALL On March 23, Mr. Gripentrog called all of the baseball candidates together and he found seventeen boys who desired to participate. The Seniors were: Mitch Riser, James Schauer, Bill Harycki, Jerry Wnek, and Donald Ryniec. The Juniors were: Edward Kosik, David Teclaw, Frank Andruszkiewicz, Leo Baldeschwiler, Dale Hokkan- en, Arthur Alger, Donald Soderberg and Daniel Winger. The Sophomores were: Vernon York, Harold Hallanger and Merlin Nevala. The boys began practice immediately, in the gym when weather didn't, permit them to practice out-of-doors. l':lg'r Fifty -nine
