THE CARDINAL HI-LITES Following tradition, the Cardinal Hi-liites made its weekly appearance in the Thorp Courier to bring into the spotlight the news and happenings backstage in Thorp High School. Lou Ann Kaminski and Michael Bogumill headed the staff as co-editors, working together, informing the public in the best way, what goes on within the four walls in the main studio. Mitch Riser, Louis Platt, and David Lussenden gave out all the secrets on how our actors keep their he-man physiques, by editing the Sports Column. Fred Radtke, Josephine Hmielak, Rheta Hoffman and Dorothy Kliminski took care of the news of our understudies and feature write-ups, while Jacqueline Hedler added to it with her news of Thorp High's future stars, the grade children. Joan Grucelski and Rita Gostomski wrote up the stars' biographies and also provided the column with bits of humor for added spirit to show that Hollywood isn't all work and no play. A great deal of credit for our success in publishing this column is owed to our advisor, Mrs. Gertrude Swanson, who helped us make our spotlight feature more ln- teresting and more enjoyable to read.
