The Juniors kept the school well informed of the happenings, by publishing their paper, Redbird Ramblings. With the fine direction of Mr. Wenninger, we staged our class play April 19, 1956, entitled Meet Me in St. Louis. The gymnasium was beautifully decorated for the Junior Prom which was held April 28, 1956. The theme for the prom was In Apple-Blossom Time. Dan Winger and Jean Mattes reigned as the royal couple. In the Student Council, we selected John Klouda and Yvonne Krupa to represent our class. We close our Junior year and are looking forward to our lordly Senior year. l':igr 'l'wn-ul, tx

Shortly after school started, we elected our class officers. Merlin Nevala, Presi- dentg Susan Baldeschwiler, Vice President, and Carol Micke, Secretary-Treasurer. We couldn't Wait to get revenge on the little green freshies with the initiation. We were later returned with a fine party. On the football and basketball teams the Bit Players placed the following on the squad: Gerald Boardman, Harold Hallanger, Louis Kaminski, Frank Kotecki, Merlin Nevala, Bob Olejniczak, Philip Turenne, and Vernon York. When Homecoming arrived, we selected Merlin Nevala as attendant and he chose his partner, Bonnie Stewart as the girl attendant. We chose Bernice Balicki and Gerald Boardman as representatives from our class in the Student Council. As we go on, we hope to find ourselves in the upper classmen group next fall. Page Twenty-four
