SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY Vthen the Senior Class of 1958 graduated we each went our own sepirate ptths only to find that we weren t satisfied and theie just wasn t my one group of people as good as our old friends from T H S So let us look into the futur e and see what will have happened in 1976 Vt L all Camo bu-gk to Indiana finding it to be the best state of all But somehow thei L wasn t a c ity anywhere which would fit tll of us So having been an industrious class we decided to build our own city But what could we name our c1ty'? l or the answer to this we looked back into our high school days Then we unanimously decided to name our Clty Beaconville Beaconville soon became well organized with Carlton Lamar as mayor and Errol Perr1ne and Wayne Reagan highly respected eouncilmen Our Judicial sy stem was made up of Everett Nease as Judge and Larry Campbell one of the most capable lawyers in the country Donald Crouch was made captain of the police force ind in charge of the fire department Lelan Caldwell Beaeonville s beautiful ehureh organized as soon as the city was built soon grew to be one of the largest and most active churehes in the nation due to the inspu ing sei mons delivered by Reverend James Grissom The organist was Janet Deck who vw is also the dean of the Beaconville School of Music ln charge of the Church s Mission try program was Dorothy Birge Seated behind the principal s desk 1n Beaconville s high school was John Coffman Jean Jackley The coach of Beaconville s famous basketball team was Tom Maiden Yes Beaconville s young people were well taken care of Janet Fairfield organized a Hop Club for the teenagers Another popular spot for them was Melvin Hanna s drag strip Because of Melvin s driver education classes the young people of Beaconville Won a National Award for safe driving To keep the people of Beaconville in good health was Dr Skeet Lollar Clara Evans was an authority of medical technology and she and Bob Worth who was in outstanding psychiatrist often gave lectures throughout the country Clarence Rance worked for years as a veterinary and worked his way up until he was the owner of a large well accomodated animal hospital If you would turn on your television set anywhere around the vicinity of Beaconville you would undoubtedly see the CLJ TV channel One of the main executives of this channel was Stanley Puckett Early in the morning it was always a pleasure to listen to the lifting voice of CLJ s talented singer Carolyn Pagano And to entertain children of all ages was Donna Shives the funniest comedian in the whole world' Right on the front page of the Beaconville Times whose editor was Dolores Norkus you could usually always find an advertisement for Cranford s Pizza Plaza of which Stanley Cranford was ch1ef chef Farther back ln the paper was the most widely read column in the U S A the Lovelorn s Letters written by Patty Baer Her advice was always found to be best The farmers of Beaconville were the most prosperous of those for miles around and whenever they had a problem they found their farm agent Jim Bowen always willing to be of service On your way into Beaconville you would probably pass a large important looking bullding with a sign in front saying Caldwell Enterprises run by Tom Caldwell His private secretary was Virginia Bragg Here top secret investigations were con stantly being made 1n the field of science Employed here are such men as Jim Jaques an electronics authority and Arthur Coffman an authority in the field of space travel It was in this building that Robert Edens and Blaine Martin 1nVented the Flopnic Windell Kinslow known throughout the world for his daring spirit was the first man to reach the moon. On the other side of town you would find Sue Pr1ce's School of Charm.
