For those who became ill at school or who should not have tried to come in the first place, there was help in the office of the school nurses. Bandages and dressings, advice and Warnings were all part of their day's business. Some students were sent home under their own power or taken home by a parent who was called. ln cases of emergency, the doctor s office or even the hospital could be their destination, but those times were infrequent. Health education , through first aid procedures was taught in physical Ping-pong is a popular game education courses. Home nursing units were included in homemaking courses.
