When they could, staff members came in during the hours When they had no classes. Newspaper deadlines came every Week- Yearbook deadlines started just before Christmas and loomed up once a month after that. Staffs managed to keep one jump ahead of their printers' demands. Meanwhile the rest of the school went on as usual, oblivious of their often frenzied activity. Freshmen visited the library and seniors overslept. Some people studied and others occupied space. That might mean newspapers to distribute, Forum business to discuss, or ballots to cast for one election or another. You were lucky if you had a meeting to attend.
