N A5 is ish QNX y 3 f misss Enrollment was the biggest everf4,256. Of that number, 1,145 were freshmen. Not only did they have to learn their way around but had to watch out lest they be shunted the wrong direction by the press of the crowd in the corridors. Next in size were the juniors with 1,098 members, and then the sophomores with 1,078. Seniors had the biggest list of potential graduatesfa whopping 935, an increase of 168 over last year. On the faculty there were 46 new members, of whom only 16 were replacements. That brought the total to 216 in the high school. In spite of crowded conditions, opening of school was very orderly and everybody accepted the inconveniences with good grace. They knew things would be better second semester when Thornridge would open Chngers crossedlj and classes would be divided between the two schools.
