We met the new superintendent VVe found Dr. Logsdon a very human and likable person. W'e soon learned that he meant business. that he expected all Thorntonites to live up to their obligations once they had been undertaken. When we met him in the corridors. he was friend- ly and he was genuinely interested in us. YVe had a feeling that here was someone who knew where we were going and how to get us there. XVe found that we could discuss our problems with him and that we could expect a ready and a decisive answer. 12
