Three student employees are his assistants. They sell textbooks, school supplies of all sorts, and bus tickets. Miss DOROTHY LIEB, B.S., R.N., school nurse, bandages the linger of Martha Korde- wich, her assistant. An average of 61 students a day are interviewed in her office. Giving tuberculosis and hearing tests and making physical examinations for girls are additional duties of the nurse. Miss FLORENCE WATERMAN, B.S., directs the school cafeteria, which serves 195,000 student- meals a year besides fifteen to twenty banquets Seventeen women and twenty-four students work there regularly. 1,300 bottles of milk, 250 pounds of potatoes, 12 gallons of gravy, 18 gallons of soup, and 130 pounds of hot dogs make up one day's ration. Miss HELEN KROHN, B.S., and Miss VIRGINIA HAMILTON, B.S., are the librarians, who, with their forty-five student assistants, help a thou- sand students a day. 350-400 books is average daily circulation. Mr. V. L. Parrish is Superintendent of Miss Edith Mitchell is registrar of the .lun- Buildings and Grounds. ior College and Miss Edith Kordewich of the High School. Gathered around the switchboard in the west ofhce are Mrs. Barbara Leeper, Miss Annabeth Ridder, Miss Caroline Witvliet, and Miss Constance Lovejoy. Mrs. Leeper is secretary to Dr. Maddox, in the absence of Miss Lovejoy. Miss Ridder operates the mimeograph, paper grading, and International Business machines. Miss Witvliet is in charge of student records. Since the taking of the picture Miss Bernice Schmidt has been added to the staff. She operates the switchboard.
