YVhen you look into the two ofhces at the southwest end of the building, you will be gazing on the most important places in the entire school. You will find a staff of office assistants who perform many tasks which are important to the successful administration of the school. Files of the attendance of students in the past and present, records of grades and citizenship, and personality ratings for each pupil may be found in these rooms. The announcements which you hear over the public address system in the morning and throughout the day corne from this main office. Qf ice lnera ford Miss Constance Lovejoy is secretary to Dr. Williztm E. McVey. Miss Jane L. Ridder is registrar, and Miss Barbara Goostree operates the switchboard. Others who are a part of the office staff are: Miss Edith Kordewich, Miss Betty Meeboer, and Miss lidith Mitchell. The secretary to Dr. C. R. Maddox and Dean Beck is Miss Annabeth Ridder. The superintendent of the building and grounds is Mr. V. L. Parish, and his assistant is Mr. YV. C. Fowler. Page 1 9
