GRIIIIIIIIIIIG CHROIIOLUGIES If a student majors in history, as many students do, he will study civics and probably liuropean history, covering the period of history from the time of the cave man to Louis XIV, and then he may study modern history. The latter becomes modern only in the last chapter. It goes back to the time of the Crusades and brings one up to date. Then there is the must , American history, required of every student for graduation. The social science curriculum gives a view of government and the history behind government so that Thornton graduates may be the better citizens of tomorrow. l ' lylml STN 'vu .Qt all 'gl 5 A10
