The year also brought scholastic honors to several ambitious seniors. Included in the list of first semester all A students Were: Ardath Anders, George Conrey, Glenn Leach, Dorothy Paynter, and Hazel Paynter. Right behind these top rankers came these students with all A's but one B: Eleanor Bartsch, Beth Brook- ley, William King, Elizabeth Lewis, Lois Rogers, Ansell Winterbauer, and Betty Woare.
