Behind The Scene The scene unfolds at Thornton High: Groups of friends laugh and exchange gossip in the commons, pranksters race around causing mischief, and the conscientious student rushes to class. But, what is the real scene? At THS so many activities are going on that no one realizes what keeps this perfect high school scene. Few people know that our custodians work around the clock, including Saturdays. There help is absolutely indispensable in keeping the school in order inside and out. Along with the custodians the THS cooks also deserve recognition. Our eight Trojan cooks prepare nutritious meals every day for hundreds of hungry students. A NEW SCENE This year even more changes are happening behind the Thornton doors. On the opening of the new high school, Horizon High, many students and teachers will be leaving . One of the fine groups, of the many in the music department, is the THS Jazz Combo.
