Spaceballs This pun-ridden Mel Brooks super-turkey parodied many science fiction movies but was not very well recieved on the planet earth. Who's That Girl? A summer of '87 bomb with Madonna trying her best to be Marilyn Monroe. Don't Waste Your Money By Charly Hogc Ernest Goes to Camp Hey Vem! Save yer money and watch Ernest act his heart out in those great commercials. Howard the Duck Created by George Lucas, this duck (or man in a duck suit) fell from space down to earth and into the cinema toilet. Back to the Beach After appearing in this movie, many of the popular '60's stars in this beach party reunion may never go back to the beach. The films listed above are ranked in order from worst to near worst as voted in a random sampling taken October 23 of TIIS students. No one movie can be loved by everybody. In fact, almost everyone looks for sometheng different in what they would call a decent movie. However, there are some movies that seem doomed to carry the title of turkey . These turkeys never seem hard to come by, and it always appears that these are w-hat we sink most of our movie money into. For an hour and a half we sit in a darkened theatre and think about how our five dollars could have been better spent. Maybe we should’ve skipped buying the ticket and gone straight to the concession stand, to spend five dollars on meager portions of popcorn. But now, you can be forewarned! The following is a list of the most recent top five turkeys as seen in the distinguished opinion of THS students. Soon, mysterious things begin to happen as strange, insulting war paint appears on sophomores' faces and the school bathrooms turn into cathedrals of terror and doom. All upperclassmen explode into unstoppable monsters fully armed with deadly cosmetic weapons. The blood-curdling sound of merciless swirlies echoes through the hideous, maze-like hallways. The sophomores have nowhere to run. Eventually, every bell becomes a war gong, summoning the sophomores to a terrifying hallway battle that they cannot win. The Administration looks on hopelessly, and tries in vain to end this senseless chaos. As this fateful week draws to a close, the sophomores gather their sanity and breathe a sigh of relief. Soon the terror will be over, and all will be normal. The very next Monday, all the upperclassmen appear to have returned to normality, and they act as if none of the horrifying scrubbings had never happened. Until next year.. .. Battle Scars Senior David Kunz terrorizes sophomores Lloyd Martinez and Chad Garcia in the traditional madness called scrubbing.
